Rebel Band News 
Week of February 13th

Congrats to the 46 students that earned places in the all-state bands!  One interesting fact: Arkansas is divided into 9 band regions. There was only one region of bands that earned more places in the all-state band than Southside HS!

1) Hawaii payment is due today.

2) Solo and ensemble is March 8th at Southside.

3) Many of you have asked about summer band dates. It looks like summer band will begin at Southside on Thursday, August 2nd.

4) Congrats to the George's Band Students of the week - Braxton Tippitt, Kristen Gonzalez, and Taylor Huntington!!!

We are very proud of the work the students did on the Feb concert!!!

The River Valley Community Band has a concert at 3:00 on Sunday at Southside. Students can earn bonus points by coming to the concert.
