All Southside Band Members will have a required 7:15 am full band rehearsal each Thursday through marching season.

In addition to the Thursday morning rehearsals, each student will have a required section class each week beginning

on September 13th.   This course of study is designed to help each student progress as musicians on their instrument

and prepare their All-Region/All-State Tryout music.  The students will be graded each week on assigned exercises

and scales.   A major emphasis is placed on this section class program and a large percentage of the semester grade

is determined by these weekly grades.      The weekly section class schedule is:

Except for our majorettes and color guard on Tuesdays and Thursdays during marching season, we have no scheduled

rehearsals after school.  We understand the demands placed on our students with homework, church, work, family, etc.

and will not call full band rehearsals after school.
